Sales Manager

Newsboy Studio is a boutique marketing agency helping bold brands tell better stories. From branding and content to strategy and digital campaigns, we partner with startups, small businesses, and mission-driven organizations to help them connect, convert, and grow.
We’re looking for a hungry, motivated, and entrepreneurial Freelance Sales Manager to help us scale our client base. This is a 1099 contract position, ideal for someone with strong B2B sales instincts and a passion for marketing, storytelling, and creative services.
What You’ll Do:

Proactively source, identify, and close new business opportunities for marketing services

Build relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and startups

Manage your own lead pipeline from prospecting to close

Represent Newsboy Studio with confidence and clarity in pitches, proposals, and follow-ups

Collaborate with internal creative and strategy teams to scope projects and proposals

Track activity and report regularly on performance and pipeline status
What You Bring:

Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in marketing, advertising, or creative services

Self-starter attitude with the ability to manage time, outreach, and closing independently

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Familiarity with digital marketing, content strategy, branding, or web design is a major plus

CRM or pipeline management experience preferred

A drive to hustle, close deals, and grow with a fast-moving creative team
Compensation:
This is a 100% commission-based role. You’ll receive a generous percentage of each deal you close. Commission is paid on signed contracts, with the opportunity to earn recurring commissions on long-term client accounts and retainers.
